Braga 1 Manchester United 3 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

A penalty from Alan and a 12-minute delay for floodlight failure looked to have given Braga three vital points in their own campaign.
But Van Persie came off the bench to capitalise on an error by home goalkeeper Beto and level up the score on 80 minutes.

Things were look decidedly shaky after a lacklustre first-half was followed by Braga snatching the lead from the spot.

And Alan duly stepped up to convert, smashing the ball in the roof of David de Gea’s net.
But a considerable break following a power failure in the Estadio AXA gave Ferguson the chance to rally his troops — with his star frontmen going on to bag the win
